Beacon strobe lights generate the highest level of attention. The most effective signaling is achieved with LED strobe lights or xenon strobe lights through the brief flare-up of an intense light pulse. As a result, the light pulse is perceived even if the warning light is not in the direct field of view of the observer. Therefore, these beacons are the right signaling device when it comes to a quick and effective warning of danger.

Beacon strobe lights are available in two different technologies:

  • LED strobe lights
  • Xenon strobe lights

Both innovative LED technology and proven Xenon technology provide reliable signaling. Due to the sophisticated combination of lens design and particularly powerful high-power LEDs, our beacons achieve the highest possible light output.

Xenon strobe lights generate an intense flash of light with the installed xenon flash tube. Due to the high voltage in the glass bulb, a glaring light pulse is created when the noble gas xenon is discharged. Many of our models are available in both xenon and LED versions.

Beacon strobe lights are available as surface mounted lights and panel indicator lights. Surface mounted lights with the strobe light function are particularly suitable for plant construction and mechanical engineering, control technology, and switch cabinet construction. Certain series offer surface mounted lights with strobe and multi-strobe functions.

The wide range of panel indicator lights includes not only beacon strobe lights but also a variety of multifunctional beacons. In addition to the strobe or multi-strobe function, these lights can also display other functions such as steady light, flashing light, or rotating beacon light.

Some beacon series also have the option of being used in combination with a siren as an audible-visual alarm. Also available as an audible-visual combination are certain beacon series, which can be used with an audible base due to their flexible series concept.

Beacon strobe lights are available in 6 different colors and various sizes. Our portfolio offers a wide range from 30mm to 160mm diameter. Flashing Beacons: Essential for Clear Warnings

Flashing beacons are utilized in diverse ways to provide quick alerts and warnings. Our flashing beacon lights are designed for excellent signaling even in bright conditions and are suitable for surface mounting or use as panel indicator lights. They can be deployed on fences, placed within industrial plants, or serve in logistics centers, to name just a few typical industry applications. You can rely on the lasting quality of our flashing beacons, crafted with durable materials like polycarbonate, and featuring blinking frequencies ranging from 1 to 4 Hertz.

Flashing beacons warn by illuminating at regular intervals. This flashing is produced by periodically switching the light on and off. The light stimulus from a flashing beacon is perceived more effectively than a permanent steady light. Flashing beacon lights are therefore used when good perception is required, though typically for situations where there isn’t an acute, immediate danger like that indicated by strobe beacons. The flashing frequency of our flashing beacon lights is between one and four Hertz.

Modern and innovative LED solutions are integrated into our flashing beacons. Our flashing LED beacons provide a particularly good signal effect with up to 72 LEDs. Sophisticated lens designs combined with powerful LEDs make our products highly effective.

The beacon flashing light function can be found on some of our models in combination with steady lights, as well as other light functions on our multifunctional models. This offers maximum flexibility. By switching to a different light function, you can react quickly and easily to changing circumstances. The lighting modes can be controlled externally or set via DIP switch. For instance, in situations requiring increased attention, a steady beacon can switch to a flashing beacon light operating mode. The constant flashing enhances the signaling effect, providing a better warning in an emergency than a steady light.

Certain luminaires with a cubic design and steady/flashing light function can be expanded with a sounder for an audible-visual alarm. Further visual-audible solutions can be implemented with other beacon series in combination with an audible base.

Continuous warning lights are usually used when there is no high potential for danger. The signal often serves purely as an information signal. Based on the color of the light of a steady beacon, indications can be given as to what subsequent action is to be taken. This could be, for example, the repair or maintenance of a device. If a sudden need for increased attention arises, certain steady beacon models can change to another functional mode, such as flashing. With a multicolor light, you can alternately display the different statuses of machines and devices without the need for an additional signaling unit. These multicolor beacons are available as both surface-mounted and panel indicator lights. The IP protection ratings for our multicolor beacons range from IP40 to IP69. Our multicolor beacons can display between two and seven different colors, depending on the specific model. With a single beacon, the multicolor function can alternate states without the need for another signaling device. The lenses of the multicolor beacon light are clear or milky and have color-changing, high-performance LEDs installed inside.

All our multicolor beacons can display the steady light function. Some models can also display the flashing light function. External control determines which color is to be displayed. These multicolor beacons are available as panel indicator lights as well as surface-mounted lights, making them suitable for a wide range of applications. Indicator lights are particularly suitable for control cabinet construction. Modular surface-mounted lights can be combined with different bases. When used with an audible base, the multicolored beacon lights can be supplemented with an audible signal. Thus, in addition to the lighting function, the audible signal can also be used to warn or announce a change of state.

The multicolor light produced by these devices enables the conveyance of specific messages or warnings, as different colors can represent different meanings or conditions. Whether it’s a flashing red for an emergency situation or a rotating combination of colors for general signaling purposes, multicolor beacons offer enhanced visibility and visual communication options. Some multicolor lights offer maximum flexibility, capable of displaying the seven most important signaling colors: Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Clear, Magenta, and Turquoise. Certain panel indicator lights can display the colors red and green separately but also in a split fashion, meaning one half of the lens can shine red and the other half green. The latter variant is particularly space-saving. We are also happy to implement other color combinations for your special application. Each color is assigned a certain meaning and therefore a certain action.

Panel Indicator Lights: Clear Status at a Glance

Our panel indicator lights are perfect for displaying the operating status or possible malfunctions of equipment. They are mounted directly in control cabinets, control panels, or on robots and machines. We manufacture various models of panel mount LED indicators with steady lights, flashing lights, strobe lights, as well as multi-color lights. These small recessed lights have a very high signaling effect and can be easily mounted with a nut in a 22.5 mm drill hole. Our panel mount indicators are manufactured to the highest quality standards.

Panel indicator lights are installed in control cabinets, control panels, or directly on a device, such as robots and other machines. The small indicator lights are designed to signal technical faults or to indicate the operating status. In most cases, panel indicator lights are usually installed by means of simple single-hole mounting (M22).

When mounting panel indicators, a hole is first either drilled or punched. Then the indicator light is inserted through the hole with the thread and fastened with the nut. Most of our panel indicator lights require a drilled hole diameter of 22.5 mm for installation. The final step is to wire the fixture.
